The beach near to the fort was awesome.

Next we visited The Masaimalar Nathar Temple

Then we visited the fort. The fort opens at 10 AM. and remains open till 5 PM. The fort remains close on Friday. There is an entry fee of Rs. 5/ head and Rs. 30 for still camera.

Don't expect a fort as large as Mehrangarh or Nahargarh types. This is a small 2 storied building. First floor has the museum. Entry to the second floor is prohibited.

After watching the fort we came back to the Tharangampadi bus stand and took a bus to Karaikal. We board the train (56711 KIK TPJ Passenger, fare Rs. 5/headand reached Nagore around 12.30 PM.
